Alana De La Garza was born in the year 1976 by her Mexican-American father as well as an Irish-American mother. She is a well-known actress on television. De La Garza's parents were both Irish and Mexican American. The actress was born in Ohio's Columbus on December 26 in 1976. The next year was not long after when she moved to Texas. In Texas, she started a new career in the field of physical therapy. De La Garza didn't stay long in Texas prior to moving to Orlando, Florida. She was in Orlando for various roles ranging including local independent films and world-wide commercials. Her passion for acting quickly grew to perform, despite small parts. When she moved to New York, in 2001 she was offered her first acting role for the television show All My Children.
